Welcome to Havering Parent Portal for In-Year Applications (ICAF)

The Parent Portal allows parents / carers to apply for school places in Havering for their children during the school year.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING APPLICATIONS MADE DURING LOCKDOWN
Applications submitted during the National Lockdown will not be offered a school place until the week after schools fully reopen. Your child should continue to access their current schools remote learning arrangements until you receive an offer from the Havering School Admissions Team.

To ensure that all children have access to education, If your child is new to the UK please complete an application and once you have submitted this application, please email schooladmissions@havering.gov.uk with your application reference number, name and date of birth of your child and a message explaining that you are new to the country and your child does not have a school place. 

If you have moved into Havering during the lockdown and you are a critical worker or your child is deemed vulnerable, please complete an application. Once you have submitted your application please email schooladmissions@havering.gov.uk with your application reference number, name and date of birth of your child and a short message explaining why you require an immediate school place. 

If your child has an Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP), you cannot apply via this portal. To discuss moving your child’s school, please contact the Special Educational Needs team for your home Local Authority. If your child lives in Havering, the contact details for SEN are 01708 431885 or you can email the team via SEN@Havering.gov.uk

This portal cannot be used for children starting Reception, transferring from Infant to Junior or transferring to Secondary school in September 2021. Please visit www.havering.gov.uk/admissions for further information.

You will need to create an account (if you do not already have one), add your child to the account, and create one or more school preferences for your child.

To return after creating an account, use this link 'Login' (Your Username is the email address you used to create the account)

Once an application has been submitted it cannot be changed via the parent portal, please email schooladmissions@havering.gov.uk for further information.
